Prior to Joining West One Finance, LLC, Mr. Merrill served as Executive Vice President, CFO, CIO, CRA and BSA Officer, Compliance Officer, Security Officer, ALCO member at Continental Bank from March 2006 through November 2017. He was an Accounting Manager at Wright Express Financial Services from 2005 to 2006 and the Controller at Transportation Alliance Bank from 1999 through 2005. Mr. Merrill received his MBA from Weber State University in 2007 with an emphasis in Accounting and a Certificate in Information Systems and Technologies.

James C. Perry

Mr. Perry is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of West One Finance, Inc., which is the predecessor to West One Finance, LLC. He served as an Executive Vice President at Continental Bank from July 2013 through July 2015. From July 2010 through July 2013 he was a voluntary mission president for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served as a Finance Executive at Summit Leasing, Inc. and as a Credit Analyst & Manager from September 2002 through July 2010. Mr. Perry worked as the Senior Vice President of D.A Davidson from April 1999 through September 2002. He worked for Security Pacific Bank/West One Bank/Key Bank- Vice President and Manager from May 1989 through April 1999.

Sasha Clark

Sasha is a founding partner at the Dicio Group, a government marketing, and public relations firm based in Salt Lake. Her work spans everything from getting members of Congress their lunch order to writing speeches and managing million dollar communication campaigns. Sasha has deep roots in the trucking industry as she previously worked as Communications Director for the Utah Trucking Association.

Burt V. Matthews

Mr. Matthews was the co-founder and president of Grant Victor, ATMequipment.com, OptConnect, eGlobal and Tetralink. He currently is a major stock holder and board member of these companies. He is also currently a board member of Koins for Kenya, a non-profit organization providing humanitarian services to rural Kenya. Prior to Grant Victor, he built and operated Chevron Gas Stations/Convenient Stores from 1997-2001. From 1989-1997 he worked at American Express with his last job there being a Senior Manager of Financial Analysis. He received the Ernst & Young Utah Region Entrepreneur of The Year Award in 2010 and was listed as one of Utah Business Magazine’s “40 under 40” in 2003. Mr. Matthews received his bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Utah.

Brian J. Watts

Mr. Watts is a partner and the Vice President of Finance at JF Capital, LLC. In addition to his responsibilities at JF Capital, Mr. Watts currently owns and manages several companies that own oil and gas-related assets and commercial real estate. Mr. Watts began his professional career at Arthur Anderson & Co. before joining Wasatch Energy LLC as partner and Chief Financial Officer. After Wasatch Energy was sold to BP plc in 2007, Mr. Watts remained with the company as Vice President of Financial Operations until 2011. Mr. Watts received a Bachelor of Science degree from Weber State University in Accounting.
